Hey lovely people, I hope you are all doing amazing. It's been a crazy few weeks here at JEP, spending a couple of days catching up on some previous shoots.
I had the chance to work with this stunning lady Nicole recently and boy am I glad I did!
I had met Nicole at a recent beauty pageant she was competing in and successfully won, and after a brief conversation we both expressed a desire to collaborate on a project together.
Well she came to the studio a few weeks ago and we went about creating a few different looks.
The above image is probably my favourite to date. I wanted to bring across Nicole's natural beauty with a simple yet subtle effect, using her hair. We created a natural frame to isolate just half of her face and show case her powerful blue eyes. I think we succeeded.
The use of frames, natural or artificial are powerful tools to bring the viewers attention to a focus point you want them to concentrate on. Go about creating some yourself and see what you get.
